RadMeter 3.0

This application transforms your smartphone into a sophisticated Geiger meter. RadMeter is compatible with a variety of common silicon and Geiger tube sensors such as SS05, BPW34, SBM-20, SBT10, STS-5, SI-29BG, LND712 and provides the option to define and add custom sensors to the internal database. The application enables measurements of dose rate (uSv/h, uR/h, Gy/h), activity (Bq, Bq/cm2, net or gross), and Radon gas (pCi/l, Bq/m3).

If the GPS tracking feature is enabled, radiation data will be automatically synchronized with GPS coordinates creating a structured KML file. The measured data can be conveniently visualized through Google Earth mapping.

This application serves as a functional radiation meter once an external sensor like SS05 is connected. In the absence of a sensor plug-in, the app utilizes the phone's internal microphone for demonstration purposes only. Alternatively, users can employ a standard Geiger tube with the appropriate connection interface. More information regarding SS05 can be found at this link.
